监理工程师在设备试运行进程的质量操控主要是监督设备单位按规定的进程和内容进行试运行。

1．设备试运行的进程及内容

通常中小型单体设备如机械加工设备，可只进行单机试车后即可交付出产。对杂乱的，大型的机组、出产工作线等，特别是化工、石油、冶金、化纤、电力等连续出产的公司，有必要进行单机、联动、投料等试车期间。

监理工程师应参加试运行的全进程，催促设备单位做好各种查看及记录，如：传动体系、电气体系、光滑、液压、气动体系的运行状况，试车中如出现异常，应立即进行剖析并指令设备单位采取相应措施。
